What is your second favorite baseball team and who's your favorite player on that team?

My second favorite baseball team is the Cardinals and my favorite player on the team is obviously Albert Pujols. He's always put up big numbers season after season and he always tries to get better along the way and I believe that he is steroid-free.

My 2nd favorite team is the Los Angeles of Anaheim Angels and my favorite player on the team is Vladimir Guerrero. He is a great hitter and always an underrated outfielder with a good strong arm. I am a Mets fan btw. I do not like any NL teams or the Yankees.

It's no problem to be a fan of players from other teams (e.g. I'm a big Josh Hamilton fan, even though he plays for the Texas Rangers), but I think generally you should stick with one team. One player should not make you be a fan of an entire team. On that note, I'm sure there are, for example, many Yankees fans who like the way Pedroia plays (even if they're supposed to hate him for being a Boston player), and many Boston fans who like the way Derek Jeter plays. As for me, just because I like Josh Hamilton doesn't mean that I'm a fan of the Texas Rangers. So it's up to you to pick which team you're truly a fan of, but it's fine to be a fan of other players.

I haven't had a second favorite team since The Pirates traded away Jeff King and Jay Bell. Being a Steeler fan, I had a sense of obligation to root for the city of Pittsburgh. (including The Penguins) I was fascinated with black and gold and followed The Pirates the entire '96 season. Jeff King may not have been the best player but damn it, as a kid I loved his image. The rough look, the 'stache, I wanted to be just like him. I believe they traded Denny Neagle that same year too. The Pirates had the talent, there's no question about that, they just couldn't keep anybody.
