Now that Senator Ted Kennedy is dead, will Senator Edward Kennedy take on a more public persona?

Am I the only one who thought the two were different individuals until I was about 15 years old?

I am dead seious about this: I am 23 and I just learned they were different people. I have been active in political learning and government studies since I was about 12 or 13, but I just recently found out the day he died that he WAS Ed Kennedy.

John, Eunice, RObert, and Ted are the only 4. There is no Edward.

Nah, that confused me for a while too. It still does confuse people, they just won't admit it.

People seem to be really confused about that whole family. I have seen people who think that Bobby was John's kid [I guess they never noticed how close in age they were, or something]... and a ton of people still don't understand that Eunice is a Kennedy, it's just her maiden name and she married into the Shriver name. I have had to explain that SO many times on here since she died it's amazing.

its a kennedy thing. id learned the whole 'jack-john' thing as a kid so 'ted-ed' made sense.

It is confusing. It took me a while to sort that one out too.
