Longtime Massachusetts Senator Ted Kennedy is dead.?

He was the last of the American Royals. I was 14 when JFK was shot and I can still remember Jackie, Robert and Ted walking behind the casket.

Say what you want about them , it doesn't change the fact that they are true patriots. . .

I remember reading a story about Robert coming home while his kids were eating dinner and arguing about something (politics, no doubt). He went ballistic and started telling them how fortunate they were to live in a house where there was food on the table.

I think everyone of the second (?) generation is involved in some sort of public service, whether it's environmental or politics, or medicine.

It's sad coming to the end of an era, and I don't see any of the kids coming remotely close to becoming a legend.

Edit: In like 12 minutes "Senator Ted Kennedy" "Massachusetts" and "Brain Cancer" are all trending.

He unintentionally caused many problems with some of his votes and initiatives, but it is admirable how he helped the Kennedy clan through the many tragedies that they experienced.

Oh my word, that is heartbreaking. If I were the praying type, I'd pray for his family, but I'm not the praying type... so I just hope they get through this.

Just saw that myself. I didn't agree much with his politics, but I have been praying for him and hope he was ready...

Bummer...though I can't say I liked him all that much.

I'm not going to lie and pretend his death affects me. All you christians should be happy that he'll now have to answer for the death he caused. If you don't know what I mean, do your research.
