i have an hp pavillion dv3000 the scrollbar on the touchpad has never worked for it, is there a way to access the settings of it so it can start working, how can i get it to work?

just download the mouse drivers...

You may need to obtain a driver for it to work. Try the HP Support Site.
If you've recently reinstalled Windows this is probably the case, but if not I don't know why it wouldn't work (maybe the driver has corrupted or a hardware difficulty)

if the drivers dont work, this might be the problem.
Go to the touchpad settings on your computer in the control panel and there should be an option that will let you turn scrolling on.
