I play guitar and compose music. I have Music Creator 5 software and want to construct a simple set-up for recording voice and guitar on a digital track. I've read allot about this but it seems more complicated that it should be. What are the basic items I need to accomplish my goal?

pro tools will give you as many options as you would need for this basic recording but will not limit you like garage band or some other simple program.
