What is the best way to record music digitally?
I've looked at various Boss digital 8 tracks, but I am not sure of the quality. Also - I LOVE the garageband program, but it's only on Mac - and I own a PC. Is there any similar program for PC? I have an extremely good PC built (brand new) so I cannot invest in a Mac.
I'm not even sure what connectors I would need to plug my guitar into my computer.
Help!
Any advice / references would be appreciated. VERY new to home recording.
