I wish that it were weird as then those few who were interested might have reasonable career prospects.

There is little that one can do with a bachelor's degree in cultural anthropology other than go to law school, which leads to an unrelated career. There is little that one can do with a doctorate in cultural anthropology as there are many more new Ph.D.s than there are job openings at universities and museums.

On the other hand, if you pursue a music technology specialty in electronic and computer engineering, it could lead to a career in musical software or hardware research and production....Show more
