Why wait until I'm 60 to get the shingles vaccine?

What will happen if I get the vaccine now? I'm in my 40s now and had shingles 2 years ago.

since you have already had shingles, the research suggests that getting the vaccine may help prevent a recurrence of the disease. if i were you i would get the vaccine now.
