An opinion please on this couplet?
We call to one another across the abyss of time,
Our fading voices becoming distant screams and desperate prayers.

And though a couplet needs to rhyme,
It's fine 'cause no one really cares.
A couplet is in this format:
My little kitten purred and rumbled
oh, the thunder pounded.
My snobby brother sure was humbled
oh, the purrs it sounded.
"Shrieking Shiver" make me Quiver, hence, I love your couplet.
