Who here really thinks that not everyone should get adequate healthcare?

Sure, if someone has a real medical emergency, they can go to the emergency room. But that is not preventative nor diagnostic care.

If you do believe that everyone should get adequate healthcare, how do you justify not supporting universal healthcare of some kind or another?

There is no Republican universal healthcare plan.

How important is human life to you?

If you think that everyone should get adequate healthcare, should you not support the least bad alternative for providing everyone with adequate healthcare.

If the government does not operate this least bad alternative for providing everyone with healthcare who will? Support an alternative that provides universal healthcare, or acknowledge that you find a government program less attractive than people not receiving adequate healthcare.

Excellent question. The Republicans have become weirdly unself-critical and immoral in their support of a so called 'free market' that punishes everyone but the very rich. This is why I left the party, me and every other middle class and working class person I know.

Human life is very important, but providing health care is NOT a function of government, it is a responsibility of individuals just like it is to feed, clothe and house themselves.

There should not be a Republican universal health care plan.

There should be and is a Republican plan to remove barriers so people can afford health care.

Bob, the Democrats are a party that supports abortion rights. How important is human life to you?

Someone's adequate healthcare is their responsibility. I don't owe anybody anything. If I want to help it is my decision. Also, I don't use the government to coerce others to pay for what I want. Let's face it. Bob, if we reall wanted to insure everyone we could with just the stimulus money. That really isn't their goal at all. They want complete control.

Bless you, Bob, you're right.

Matthew, and Viva, 40% of our poor are children. Do you want them to get a job? Or should they just be without health care if their parents are too sick to hold a job? THINK, Matthew and Viva. You know, with the organ between your EARS.

Poke, no, the Democrats are the party that supports quality health care for women under all circumstances. The Republicans are the party that supports coat hangers and back alley butchers for their own daughters! BTW, 35% of abortions are performed on Republican women.

I fully support every American receiving adequate healthcare. What I don't support is the government deciding on what Americans can and cannot have. It's like giving the town drunk the responsibility of performing heart surgery.

Conservatives don't support it because we don't feel the government is competent. I don't care what any other liberal tells you. I don't trust the government to do anything right, because they never have. We need reform, yes! But why is the government the only way??
