Trying to find a book from my childhood. Help if you can!?

I dont have much info, but heres what I remember..

It was a hard cover 8 x 11 or so in size. One of the very first pages had the 12 months with a little rhyme next to each month. There was hickory dickory dock, and it had a picture of a large grand father clock with 2 mice running down the side. There was geogie porgie, and there was a picture of him up close, with crying school girls running in the back ground. I am not sure, but it could have been rhymes in the beginning and stories in the back? The book seemed quite large. I know its not a ton of info, but its all I can remember.

Well, it's clearly a collection of Mother Goose Nursery Rhymes.  But there have been so many of those that it would be just about impossible to to determine which one you are referring to.  Most of them would have similar illustrations.  (Amazon lists over 15,000 books when you search for "Mother Goose")  This is the one I remember from my childhood

Take a look at some of the other Mother Goose books offered on Amazon, and see if one of them is the one you remember.

Okay, it sounds like a book I had. Maybe a mother goose story book? I had a book like that with a bunch of the mother goose tales. It had sayings and lullabies, etc., but i'm not sure if it had stories.
