My opinion will be try to talk to your husband of why he doesn't want to have another baby. Ask him without having irritated. Because it is normal that while your asking certain things most especially to a husband there are times he might insist few points on you that you may feel that you need to push your words so that he will do. Learn to listen first and try to understand as much as you can, then after he said all the things you should know why, open it up to him your reason. Explain it in a manner that he will understand. maybe of his age, financial and of course some personal health condition that you don't know that he might fearing of. Be more patience while doing this to end up in a very pleasant conversation.

First off your mother in law shouldn't even be a factor This should be between you your husband and your son ..
Second off you should see where he's coming from he's probably thinking about having to start all over again and that isn't easy
You could consider adoption since there are so many risks about having kids past 35
Good Luck :)

giving birth after age of 32 may leave you with a kid with autism or some sort of disabilitieses or the kid may be possibly extremely smart. I would not recommended anyone after age of 35 to get pregnant WHATSOEVER.
Do not take this risk !

Also the thing about the autism is that you can not determine whether the kid is healthy while you are pregnant or not.

if i were you i would sit down with him and have a heart to heart, if this is something your serious about. have him weigh the pro's and con's of both having a baby and not having a baby (he has to come up with at least one pro for having one ;) good luck!!!
