What is Buffalo thinking hiring Chan Gailey as their head coach!?
I'm a fan of Georgia Tech and he was a terrible coach when he was with the Jackets. The program went to mediocrity and turned it becoming much better without him.
He's never done anything in the NFL, and I don't see him doing anything in Buffalo.
this was a terrible hire. I was glad to see him get fired when he was the coach at Georgia Tech

I think that Ralph Wilson should just move the team already and stop torturing us fans. The fans that will sell out the games no matter who is the coach. He is a sadistic old man. It really does suck being a Bills fan. I really am just shocked and awed that this is what we get. I don't don't even know what it feels like to even have my team in the playoffs anymore. It's been that long and I can see it being like this for a while still. I don't blame all the other coaches for declining the job. Who would want to work for a senile owner and a GM they picked out of the retirement home. It really is just sad to be a fan and I think we've officially hit rock bottom. More mediocre football to come. No fan should have to go through this. Saddest part is no matter what I can't not root for the Bills. Even if they never make the playoffs again. Good day.
Not surprised here the bills havent hired a good coach since marvelous Marv Levy retired. No one accepted the job because of instability of front office, age of owner and a bogus stadium issue. Safe to say Gailey is not the answer and be prepared for 3 more years of mediocrity. All they had to do was throw the boat at Leslie Frazier and they would've had a solid guy for 10 years. Others with a better shot at succeding Rob Ryan Russ Grimm Ron Rivera *Ralph Wilson just didn't want to open up the wallet or believe me he couldve got anybody to coach. Heck look at Dan Snyder and how many coaches he gets!
They couldn't find anyone better to take the job I guess. The Bills were turned down by a number of coaches before Gailey finally took the job. I agree with you, I don't really see how Gailey is any kind of improvement over what they already had, but Bills ownership put itself in a very poor position by firing the entire coaching staff before knowing for sure that they could get someone better in to replace them.
