why do people give thumbs down for telling experiences they have had?

Some people ask questions on here wanting to know about other's experiences in pregnancy, which is all fun for the people answering because people like sharing their past experiences. But, why is it that when someone asks "when did you experience...." people give thumbs down? I get several thumbs down for telling someone I didn't experience much morning sickness or that I didn't have bad pregnancy symptoms. So my question is, what warrants you giving someone a thumbs down for sharing their personal experience?

ha! i'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed it. I am not really taking it personally I just think it is really ridiculous that some people can't "accept" the fact that every pregnancy is different and things happen at different times for everyone.

I've noticed that people always give me a thumbs down (or more) when I talk about my experiences thus far in my pregnancy...I honestly think its from people who want to be pregnant but aren't. Because typically when I discuss my experiences to someone the question calls for it and everyone else has thumbs downs too....People are just cranky and power tripping with their right to thumbs down. It makes no sense but whatever....i thumbs down when I don't believe the answer applies to the question or is wrong. It kinda makes me laugh when I get thumbs downed when I am correct though. Oh well Congrats on being so close to the finish line by the way :o)

I agree with you completely! I think people just do it because they don't agree with someone's choice - like if someone asks about epidurals and someone says they had one and loved it - people who want natural child birth for themselves give them thumbs down. It's really silly.

This is why I'm spending more times on a supportive message board like Just Mommies and less on Yahoo Answers. A lot of the people annoy me on here..

I know! Some people are just ridiculous. It drives me crazy. A lot of times its trolls and stuff like that but some people will give you a thumbs down just for sharing what happened to you! I don't get it..

I bet a bunch of answers to this question get thumbs downs!

Some people are ridiculous. I once got thumbs down when someone asked what week everyone found out the sex of their babies...I happen to find out VERY early at 13 weeks(it was confirmed later on a 23 weeks) that I'm having a boy. People think b/c it didn't happen that way for them, it's impossible for you.

That is me. I provide every body thumbs down, even humans I trust. I identical to to make humans irritated. Just kidding, I do not suppose you're going to get many humans who will admit it.
