First of all: the Indianapolis Colts ARE the AFC South. That's a division of expansions.

The NFC East has 2 teams that were once proud dynasties, an Eagles team that somehow manages to challenge for the NFC every year, and the Giants have an occasional great season. The closest I can think of is the AFC East....Show more

Its the most competitive. You may look at it and say "oh the giants were 8-8 and missed the playoffs and the redskins have an embarassing 4-12 record." But that is very inaccurate, both the redskins and giants were fighting their butts off as if they were undefeated.
