So you hear a real spooky noise....investigate it yourself, or call the cops?

BAHAHAH, that's HILARIOUS. 

Well, one time I heard footsteps (or I thought I did) so I went through the house with a knife, and the cell phone in my hand ready to dial 911. So I would investigate myself first.

There was this other funny story:

A man told his wife a joke and called the police after they heard a laugh from upstairs.
