I've been driving for a living since I was a young man, in my hometown. A guy asked for directions when we were standing in a convenience store. So I give him the shortest and SAFEST way back to the freeway,ย which he asked for.... Another guy feels he needs to intervene and give his opinion.... I look at the clerk and he looks at me, and we're both thinking the same thing, basically the clerk knew my directions were correct. I just walked away and hoped the stranger got home safe. I never understood why people think we want their opinions when never asked?
