My dad has a lot of college textbooks from the 80s but I tried a website and it said it was too old to sell. Where else can I sell my old textbooks?

A lot of times if you try http://www.chegg.com and click Sell Textbooks at the top. Enter the ISBN number. If it says you can sell/donate the book you should be able to use CC125236 and get at least 5 dollars out of each book. Free shipping. But they do have to not have any of the following:

 - Broken spine or binding
 - Missing, torn or loose pages
 - Excessive writing, marking, or highlighting
 - Stains or water damage
 - Burns or rips
 - Any other significant damage

Try other places online. For buying and selling of textbooks I use http://www.bigwords.com They are a textbook search engine that searches all the online textbook retailers (including amazon, half, ebay etc) and rental sites (including chegg, bookrenter etc) to find you the best prices.  You can use them to search for resellers to sell your book to. All the search results are organized by price so you can buy your books for the lowest prices and sell them back for the highest.
