Devin Hester: Cornerback or Wide Receiver?
We all know of the Chicago Bears' decision to convert cornerback/return specialist Devin Hester to wide receiver prior to the 2007 season. This decision most likely ruined his return abilities a year later. Also he hasn't shown that he can be an elite receiver, though he's a good one. What I want to know is, what if they would've kept him at cornerback? If he was good enough to get drafted in the 2nd round as a cornerback, why switch him? I didn't watch him in college so I need you guys to tell me whether he was a good corner or not. Would he had been better off trying to follow in the footsteps of his mentor, Deion Sanders?
