What is the name of a book that displays a collection of information of all the countries of the world?

I know that a collection of maps is an atlas, but what if all I want is facts of different countries?
What is the right name for a book like this?

A world atlas!  This kind of reference book has sort of gone out of style in the age of the Internet.

There is also the CIA World Factbook, published every year with maps, information, facts & figures.

The Economist puts out a yearly book called "The World In Figures" that has statistics and facts about all countries like population, crime, birthrates, pollution, etc.

I have the 2010 pocket edition, I love pulling it out during random conversation! lol.

And I think it's called like a Global Index, or maybe Ranking Index, something like that...
