What could this mean....?

Gay rights activists 'heckle' the president. Obama snaps back 'Boxer didn't even vote on Don't Ask, Don't Tell'. Could that mean that she isn't interested in 'Gay Rights'? I mean he says she didn't even think  it important enough  to  show up  for the vote in '1993'. I wonder where she was. Will she even show up it if  comes to another vote? Do gays really want her as one of their  senators? Golly, such a choice here. What do you think?

Obama was speaking at a fundraiser for Barbara Boxer.  So when people began hecking over DADT, he pointed out that the issue was totally irrelevant to his appearance and this fundraiser.  DADT was an executive order, Congress played no part in it.  That was all he was saying.

As for whether gays want Boxer as their senator, yes, I'm pretty sure gays in California would rather have a liberal senator than just about anyone the Republicans could come up with.  Boxer wouldn't be a senator to begin with if the Republicans hadn't picked a real mouth-breathing Neanderthal to run against her that first time.  Bruce Herschenson, back in 1992.  She replaced Alan Cranston, another liberal Democrat, so the seat stayed in the same party, why not?

Voting for "don't ask don't tell" would have been a vote AGAINST gay rights. But, you don't even know what the issue is, do you? You just couldn't wait to get on here and spew intolerance and hatred.
