Irish music in NHL games. Anyone know who and what it is?

During the playoffs, I've heard Irish music playing before they're about to drop the puck during the game. I was wondering if anyone knew who, or what it is? I don't recall what teams were playing at the time.

Juxtapose, I said "music". Not song. You're not very good at reading are you?

thelau I'm guessing about two to three weeks ago. It's just music with an Irish flair while they're killing time before they resume play.

Likely was the Boston/Philly series in Boston and the band was likely the Dropkick Murphy's.

Whatever it is, it's probably by Dropkick Murphy's. Theyre the only Irish band that arenas will play...

@ juxtapose, OK, I know this may be difficult for you to understand, so I'll take it slow. 1. Somebody answers with a song here. 2. The person looks it up on Youtube. 3. If it's right, then it's right. If it's not, the person tries a different song.

What do you mean by "other identifying information?" Do you want him to hum it for you? Let's see how well that translates over text...

"So I heard this Irih song that went, ' hmmm hmm doo doo DOO hmmm.'" That's REALLY helpful.

I think you may be talking about "I'm shipping up to Boston" by The Dropkick Murphys. I have heard that at a few games.

Boston`s own Dropkick Murphy's.
