I will be traveling to downtown Houston this weekend and would like to find a bar that permits smoking. I was hoping that there would be an outside bar close to the convention center. Thanks!

I'd recommend The Flying Saucer. They have an ample beer selection, good food and an outdoor patio that allows smoking. It's address is 705 Main St at Capitol.

try driving out of downtown i live in Baytown and there are a lot of outdoor bars that go under city law and allow smokeing.
