Interesting question, I have wondered about myself. BP is saying now, they can do nothing more with the oil spill until mid August, while they build something else they will try to cap the well. But, that's a long time for immeasurable damage.

Throw a hurricane or two in this mess and the beauty of our beaches, our way of life, our coral reefs, our businesses & lifestyle will all fail. I live in South Florida, we had the warmest April ever on record and the temperatures of the water are higher than usual. Which could cause more storms than usual.

These Hurricanes are so powerful anymore they are terrifying. My fear is that BP will file bankruptcy and leave the cost of the clean up on the American People. Throw a Hurricane in the Mess, I don't know if our national debt can carry the cost. It may do us under.
