why is chicago police police a joke?
with crime on a steady rise, nepotism and racism within the dept. preventing any non-white from being hire, why is CPD looked at as a bad joke? the mayor had 500 officers in his command and disbanded that department.

people call the police and they come an hour later, if they come at all! if the CPD did there job, like the chicago housing authority police did they're job, btw, which got disbanded because they were a minority dept. of 500 and outshined a 13000 force, crime would not as bad. Daley had a force of cops under his control and disbanded them for money, how about that? the slave-trade still exist.
to the sgt. kudos on your credentials! but i dont care about them, i have a BA in pre-law 3.5 GPA, masters in conflict resolution, a veteran, and a cop. How did you serve minorities?! thats what cops do,"SERVE". most cops forget that part.

i would understand if someone from CPD responded, here is thier chance. lets see if any CPD is online or have the nuts to respond, i welcome it. as far as those others, they are out of line! they could have answered the question without malice, it was their choice.
