What is best flea treatment for kittens?

I have seen several different products available for fleas and want recommendations. We are fostering a kitten (about 6-8 weeks old). He is a rescue kitten and since we have two other cats, I'm trying to avoid all of them being infested.

I would not use flea drops on your kitten. This can be very dangerous. It can seep into there skin and poison them. If u need anything i would take your kitten to the vet they can recommend and even treat the problem for you so there are no mistakes and your new love doesn't end up paying the price for a awful mistake.

Yes, you certainly want to keep the fleas confined. Normally, the only product for 4 weeks/2 pound kittens is Capstar, which will kill all the fleas immediately but no eggs. It is a vet product.

Under two pounds, and usually using a flea comb to keep the numbers to a minimum until they gain enough weight.

I believe Frontline Plus has a 8 week timeline, and will kill the fleas and stop eggs from hatching. Revolution is better, but again 8 weeks or older. Revolution is vet only.
