ok basically every now and again the screen on the tv goes kinda grey....but not all of it, its just like a certain frame of pixels go grey and the rest stay red or blue or whatever, can anyone tell me if this is a problem with the ps3 or my tv? its easily fixed, i just change the channel then put it back to the ps3 channel and its fixed, but i jst want to know if its the tv doing this?

Definitely the TV. Probably time to put some money towards a new one mate.

Just to be sure, make some effort to test it with another TV (maybe your friend's TV if you don't have another TV at home) and find out. I had a problem with my PS3 before. It was pixelizing. But I made sure first that it's the PS3. Then I called Sony and they arranged me fpr replacement right away. Within a week, I had a new PS3.

make sure your connections in the ps3 are on good, but honestly since switching channels help i would say your tv but I'm not sure of what might cause it
