I agree rephrase to represent a question this is not a question.

Will Americans ever tolerate sharia law? Is a question.
When was sharia law brought into islam?
Who is responsible for sharia law?
What would be considered Barbaric within Sharia Law in Modern America?
Where would conflict arise with American Law?
Will Americans tolerate Separate Justice?
will sharia law over rule American Justice?
Who is going to pay for sharia justice?
Would this not separate the people if American eases or allows the use of sharia law?
How will Americans police such justice and who will pay for this justice?
are all questions.

Then go on to add whatever supportive information you have to allow for a good answer..

I think that subject has become tired and laborious.
It isnt an interest in whether the building should be built.

No this repeated ask is from people trying to gain support for their prejudices. You cannot win with it.
Either it will give rise to hatred or it will be removed.

So will this have any effect whatsoever on the actual Mosque being built or not ? NO so why waste the time and effort even asking it ?

Ok but anyhow I'll try to help you with my opinion.

The WTC buildings were ugly as sin bold and foreboding.
The loss of lives of course was heartbreaking and distressing.

A Mosque I have no doubt would be a very beautiful building.
Perhaps a symbol of peace recovery and of a new approach and path in life. Which doesnt represent money greed dominance and false power.

There must be millions of violent killers with Christian memorials over their graves. What is the difference really ?

I wrote that just after a phone conversation with a great friend who called me from Netherlands and I was reading your question out to him.
And who's niece is an award winning architect.
I guess then I nicked his opinion somewhat but totally agree anyway.
I added the last two lines of the answer myself personally.

As for yahoo removal of questions and replies
That should not be for other users to have any immediate influence over.
I help to run a forums a large wordlwide one and the administrators do that. Not the members. And only with really offensive entries and repeated offenders.

It's not really a question; just because you put ? at the end doesn't make it one, certainly not in the context the site is intended for. It is more of a rant, phrased in way that can be considered leading and/or rhetorical, and has undertones of religious intolerance formed from an ignorant, xenophobic and narrow view of the world.

If you were to repost it, I would suggest asking something along the lines of "Do you think plans to have a mosque next to the WTC site acceptable or not, and why/why not?"

Yahoo has a large number of muslims working for them. That includes the staff of Y/A. Many have asked questions about such things and have been deleted. You can appeal and you might get it restored by chance.

If your Q offends anyone in any way then they report you and the Q is removed.. Simple.
The reporters don't really have to be right, just personally in some way they feel offended.
Put a cartoon about certain people and there will be riots..
