what are the chances ill get caught with spray paint on a plane?

i bought some cans of spray paint here since its illegal to buy under 18 in usa, im in greece.

i have 7 cans, to my surprise cans arent even allowed in checked baggage

however toilettries are so could my spray cans be mistaken for hairspray etc.?

what would happen if they fopund out they were spray cans, would they just take them out and put my suicase on the plane? or would my suitcase not be allowed on the plae, would i be notified of what happened, is it safer just to take one or two?

The chances are close to 100%.

The TSA in the US <<specifically>> prohibits spray paint:
http://www.tsa.gov/travelers/airtravel/prohibited/permitted-prohibited-items.shtm#9

Departures from the UK also <<specifically>> prohibit spray paint:
http://www.caa.co.uk/docs/1219/srg_dgo_WhatCanICarry20100416.pdf
see page 7.

Of course the x-ray machines will see all of the cans - can't be missed. 1 can might be mistaken for hair spray, perhaps, but 7 cans?? Not likely. Even 1 large aerosol can may very well be confiscated. Basically - you're screwed. I think you should see if you can return the paint and get a refund.

When the TSA agents do a hand search of checked luggage, they put in an inspection notice into your bag that says it was opened. I do not know what the procedure is in other countries - nor do I know what they do if the find a forbidden items.

Paint in and of itself is not illegal, so they may just remove it and send your bag on its way. Don't know if you would specifically be in trouble.
