MotoGP needs a British rider in the blue ribbon class. The TV revenue alone states we need Cal in there ASAP.

As for Nori, time to hang them leathers up now.

Ben Spies did a Rossi on him last year by beating him on an unknown machine at tracks he did not know. Nori#41, thats it for you.

Good luck Cal & Tech 3. It has to happen next year, as who else is there to ride in the team?
He is also Monster paid too, so he wont need to find his own wage and nor with Herve or Yamaha. On paper Tech 3 will only have to find one riders wage. If its CE2 as his team mate, then Bridgestone pay Colins wage, so that will be good for the team too.

I think Ducati had the rules in their favour for so long they do not how to lose.

That said I agree that the Superbikes have got to far removed from the Production Based racers they are meant to be, it has become little more than silhouette racing.

They need to turn the clock back and get back to its roots, I feel this would have the double edged sword if reducing costs and increasing the grids which are not as healthy as people think, take the factory teams out and you left with about 5 riders. if MotoGP had the same number of Factories involved just think how big its grid would be.

As for Cal I think he would be better off staying in Superbikes for another year and going to MotoGP in 2012 when the 1000's are reintroduced, the last thing he needs to do now is spend a year learning to ride a 800 to then get back on a 1000.

Edit: CE2 suddenly wants to stay at Tech3, despite having said he no longer wants to stay in the MotoGP paddock, I wonder why?

I would like to say something different to Richard, But cant think of anything.
I agree about Cal waiting another year.
What about Nori moving to Tech 3

Edit, so what about the move to WSBK for Colin Edwards ?
where does that leave him now.
BMW and Aprilia must be laughing already.

I think everyone agree's Nori jumped ship too soon, he can ride a Yamaha.

[ i guess that Ducati have ridden the rules as far they can as Richard G says, and there is no life in WSB without the likes of Troy Bayliss on board..

And know that they have Rossi on board, perhaps bike sales, and sponsorship will take care of themselves for the next couple of years..

I think Cal needs to move to MotoGp as soon as possible, he seems too have the bit between his teeth and should just go for it, in my opinion..

I hope it's not the end for Nori Haga, Ben happened at the wrong time for Nori..but i have always liked him and he will always be the caninus testiculi (dogs borrocks) for me..<^><..
