Who do you want where regarding WSB and Moto GP 2010?
I have just finished reading MCN this week and Michael Guy had some interesting points regarding 2010 contracts. I think it could be kinda interesting.
I think that Ben Spies is someone who could really give some of the big guys a run for their money in Moto GP. However i would like to see him win the WSB championship. If not this year then next...
He was also saying that JT, Edwards and Vermeulen could return to WSB. I think Vermeulen would really be someone to watch if he made a switch to another team. I really think he would do better not with suzuki. I also think Edwards still has alot to offer Moto GP. However i think JT could be better off in WSB as he hasn't made much of an impact...
Now it is rumoured that Ducati want to Capirossi back. I think the only reason they want him is because he could actually tame the red beast not like Melandri and Hayden would are putting people off joining Ducati. I have a feeling that he won't sign to Ducati though. If he does it will mean Hayden will be out of a contract. I honestly think he should move to Yamaha but i doubt there will be a place there any time soon! I don't think Hayden should move to WSB as i think he would be good there but maybe alittle too good. He is a Moto GP champ, it just doesn't seem like it would work to me... I think his best bet would be to find a new Moto GP ride or stay with Ducati and make it work.
Wouldn't it just be sooo interesting if Rossi would swap to Ducati? I would pay to see that!
Well that was my opinions. Now i wanna know yours! :]

Hadn't given much thought to silly season yet. Other than wondering what Spies will do. All I really hope for is Nicky to get back on the podium, and quick. With the effort being made at Ducati, I think he'll get a 2nd year on it, no matter what happens this year. Like Ciccio said, having him on the Ducati is exciting over here, even if his results are not so hot.
Yamaha has to be stoked about their factory riders this year. Rossi, Lorenzo, Spies and Crutchlow, all serious championship contenders. Even Bostrom and Hayes in the AMA are starting to get good results with the new R1. Crutchlow wants a ride on the big bike, I think he will get it. Rossi and Lorenzo will be back on the M1. Spies will ? Can Fiat field a 3rd bike?
San Carlo Gresini announced the hair ball will be in GP for them next year, so that will put De Angelis or Elias looking for a new ride as well as a few others i'm sure.
Blake Young is getting a shot at SBK this weekend. I would like to see him get a full ride in that series...hopefully sooner than later.
Only time will tell....

I think JT is already looking for a place in WSBK. I think Hervè will change his whole lineup and Colin will leave as well. Ben Spies says he is happy in WSBK in order to have leverage when negotiations begin. He wants to be in MotoGP and MotoGP wants him. It will depend on how much commited are sponsors into this venture. I´m not sure if the new rule requiring rookies entering satellite teams aply for him, since his been here before. Not sure if he wants to ride a Satellite bike, least likely to win a Championship.
Livio NEEDS Nicky and the Desmo16 work well together. Of course they need a great second rider, but Ducati´s biggest market is the U.S. and an American rider winning races on a Duc can boost sales there a lot. I think they will try at least another year. I don´t think Troy Bayliss will change his mind about moving to Oz... not that he doesn´t want to. Casey will stay al least three years more. If Nicky gets the sack, how about Dani giving a try at the Bolognese Factory?
Pedrosa needs to heal 100% and stay healthy if he wants to stay in MotoGP. He can be as fast as anyone when he is on his 100% I don´t think Moto2 is a good option for him, but sounds possible.
Capirez will stay one more year in Suzuki or retire. They can bring Randy de Puniet or Mika Kallio (or both if two seats become available)
I think Vermulin time in MotoGP is over, but as with Colin, I´m not sure there is enough new talent ready to make the leap to the premier category. Specially when Moto2 starts. So some veterans will keep their bike because there are no enough substitutes on the pipeline.
If Pedrosa leaves HRC, the team might pair Dovizioso and Melandri. That could boost Honda chances.
Lorenzo is getting the same bike, support from Yamaha, so he´ll stay and keep trying. He wants more a Championship than a bigger check, that´s for sure.
I would like to see a healthy John Hopkins on the GP grid, but to be honest I don´t think he´ll get a shot unless more seats become available.
I´ve also wondered about Rossi riding a Ducati, but I´m not sure he would take that risk after Melandri and (so far) Hayden struggled so much with the red beast. Perhaps on other stage of his carrer he would go for something like that, but right now I´m not so sure.

Well even though he says he is happy in WSB, any rider with the C.V of Ben Spies wants to beat the best in the world, and you need to be in MotoGP for that.
Its looking like ( unless he pulls his socks up ) J52T will be gone from the paddock and Herve will have 2 Texans to deal with.
Vale will stick with Yammy now untill he retires I think. Lorenzo will have to be offered € millions to leave Yamaha now, it would be cheaper for Repsol to sponser the YRTeam rather then HRC buy him.
Dani will be out this year, and with any luck, get rid of Puig. I hope he moves to Moto2. Dovi will move to the number 1 place and maybe bring some Red Bull sponser to the team.... When Repsol go Lorenzo hunting.
Livio will keep Casey for the next 10 years unless they make a bike anybody else can ride. Nicky needs a whole new crew I think. Or just Pete Benson from HRC.
Marco is doing a great job, but without massive € £ or $, the team will go nowhere.
End of the road for Loris and Chris to be fair. New young talent would do the job. I would like to see Leon Camier on the GSVR. Not sure for the second rider yet.
As for WSB, well Corser is still a massive talent and should be back in MotoGp, as should Spies of course. Nori will stay will the red boys from now on.
The funny thing is, I still think that if Bayliss ever came back ( and got divorced ) he would still win the title.

I just want Ben Spies to meet Rossi on equal terms.
My money says Ben can beat him. But I dont think its going to happen. If Ben goes to the tech3 team he isnt really getting the same bike. and by the time he can move to the fiat ride, Rossi will have retired or moved on to Rallying. maybe WSBK. either way they are going to miss each other. Unless...... Ben moves with the Yamaha Italia team into GP and they surprise everyone not being a factory team. I can only dream.
I would have loved Ben to have been riding a Yoshimura Suzuki in GP.
Now that would be worth paying good money to see.
I dont see Yamaha wanting to let him, Rossi or Lorenzo go anytime soon. It would be interesting to see them bring Mladin into GP again.
other than those I would Like to see Nakasuga ( Japanese rider) get a ride in GP too
Albert, are you reffering to the bikes or the whisky ?

I would like to Rossi move to Wsbk as a teammate to Spies. Same team and eqip. Would be a great season. Throw Toseland back on a honda there as well. If Niki doesn't shape up then...back to wsbk for him on the Duc with Nori as a teammate. I'm not sure of Colins contract but I would like to see him on the podium somewhere and it may as well be on the aprilia in Wsbk. Good lord what a season that would be Huh? I'm going to need a minute alone SEE YA
