I have 1 male and 1 female from the same litter born on 10 May this year. The male tried to mount his sister last night and she didn't reject him. She turned lying belly up and seemed very relaxed. The male kitten has been making some weird sounds ocassionally. The female looks kind of plum around the tummy and when I stroke her belly I could feel her nipples. They are big like green beans and the surrounding area is a little hard. Could she be pregnant already? At the age of 4 months? Their mother had them when she was 8 months old. She is a very good mother and trained these kittens really well. When my kittens are 2 months old she went out and got pregnant again. She gave birth to the second litter on 31 August and is attending to this litter very well too. We are wondering if mother cat was on heat for the first time when she was 4 months old and then again 4 months later. She got pregnant this second time and then again 4 months after that. I am worried that my female kitten is already pregnant. Can that be possible, 4 months old?

Although one should never say never it would be extremely rare for a four-month old kitten to be pregnant. Cats typically reach sexual maturity around 7 - 12 months of age. Sexual maturity is indicated when the female (queen) first come in season. She makes a good deal of noise and will be unusually friendly in trying to get you to touch her. She often crouches low and drags along the floor. What you describe sounds more like kitten play. Cats don't mate "face to face" but they do play that way. The female kitten is certainly old enough to get spayed and you should do so for her health and well-being as well as yours. Get the male neutered at around 6 - 8 months. Earlier neutering of males may contribute to urinary tract blockages and infection later.
Yes its possible and very dangerous. Get an emergency spay NOW - she is not physically able to give birth or care for kittens if she survives. Its a high chance of her dying trying to give birth. And get her brother neutered too as soon as possible.
Your kittens' mother was lucky she made it thru the pregnancy. If you also own the mother, spay her immediately as well.
call your close by no-kill/foster safeguard. they'll discover homes for the 4 month outdated kittens who should not be nursing on momma-to-be. She desires that colostrum for her toddler kits. The safeguard could even provide the hot kittens their photographs on the the proper option situations to get them waiting for adoption, as long as you sign them over to them. Then get that destructive lady spayed. you would be conscious how healthful she would be able to become as quickly as she's fastened. Kittens take a lot out of a mom cat. Do the the proper option element for her. you're her "individual" now and he or she's reckoning on you. do no longer permit her exterior anymore. era, please! Even after she's spayed. Her life is enriched interior with the aid of fact of you. solid success GrammaCarrie
Yes, she can be pregnant. And if she is, it could be dangerous for her to have kittens so young.
It's a shame you are not doing anything to prevent pregnancy with your cats. I really hope you consider spaying and neutering ALL of your pets immediately. It is the humane and responsible thing to do.
