If the USA are so keen to get BP to clean up and the mess they left in the Gulf of Mexico....?

...why hasn't the USA cleared up the mess they left in Laos?
Are there differences between Corporate responsibility and National responsibility?

Because I don't see how the two are linked.

If you mean by the "USA", the people in charge, they are not keen to clean up either.

Really! The BP clean up is all show.

Ok, here's the facts. There is a product that "eats" oil. The US has used it for decades. It consumes the oil and turns it into something organic that is actually pretty good for the ocean.

They didn't use it this time. It was not ALLOWED to be used. Why?

Answer that question and you might have a grasp of the situation.

Actually, it's the very same answer as the Laos question ( that's a hint ).

Oh what about Bophal? They never cleaned that up either. The United States, and companies owned in the USA are do not feel they have any responsibility to clean their messes up.
