Nope, your the 8th nitwit, and i'm the 9th.
Heres my input: if you dont want to use a rimfire, then i would go with some 12ga target loads. Their fairly cheap if you can find em on sale. Happy "huntin" and enjoy your dinner.
If its been scrubbed that is approximately each little thing you're able to do. you ought to get yet another tank, yet i don't think of that is a hundred% necessary. i'm uncertain the style you ought to eliminate possums that would come again. i might verify the tank daily from now on, for sure animals different than your horses are coming to drink from the trough.
A double barrel 12 guage, pulling both triggers at once. The secret is to let it bloat in the hot sun for two whole days. After 2 days when you empty your double in it the blast radius of the exploding possum will be much larger and pungent. Be sure to wear goggles a poncho and snorkel.
25-06 0r 25 0r six to 4?Sir. this is dangerous ground. Shot a dead possum with a 25-06?The heavens do not forecast a good sign. "If thou overkill, by shooting a dead possum, thou shall be awarded by overkill themselves."Shoot a ded possum with a marinade of bullseye bbq sauce and a hint of rosemary, thyme, and a side order of fava beans.Mac and cheese and a side order of hushpuppies.
One time I found a goat that had been from what I could tell, used in some kind of animal sacrifice probably by witches or some thing ...any way I took my 44 mag and shot it a couple times and that thing bounced like a foot off the ground every time I shot it...it was kinda cool to see !
