good gun for shootin a dead possum?
I found a dead possum in the field last week,so of course I went and got the Ruger 77 in 25-06 and shot it a few times.gets kinda expensive though.I need more bang than a rimfire,what gun do yall suggest shootin dead possums with.Might decide to eat it,aint sure yet.So I dont wanna just ruin the meat altogether.

Heres my input: if you dont want to use a rimfire, then i would go with some 12ga target loads. Their fairly cheap if you can find em on sale.

If its been scrubbed that is approximately each little thing you're able to do. you ought to get yet another tank, yet i don't think of that is a hundred% necessary. i'm uncertain the style you ought to eliminate possums that would come again. i might verify the tank daily from now on, for sure animals different than your horses are coming to drink from the trough.

A double barrel 12 guage, pulling both triggers at once. The secret is to let it bloat in the hot sun for two whole days. After 2 days when you empty your double in it the blast radius of the exploding possum will be much larger and pungent. Be sure to wear goggles a poncho and snorkel.

One time I found a goat that had been from what I could tell, used in some kind of animal sacrifice probably by witches or some thing ...any way I took my 44 mag and shot it a couple times and that thing bounced like a foot off the ground every time I shot it...it was kinda cool to see !
