If someone broke into your house and you didn't have a gun, what weapons would you want to have?

"want to have" is not the correct question. "What you will have available within reach at that time" is the right one. If gun control really happens, I guess I will have to kindly ask the bad guy to leave the premises... or else. Or else I will call the cops and wait the 10 minutes while the bad guy does whatever he wants with me and my family. Anyways, seems that's what gun haters want.
