I like a phone with a camera and good sound quality, but I just use it as a phone. (I use my computer for my computer! Don't need lots of bells and whistles!) Was thinking about LG Accolade. Any comments or other recommendations?

Depends on your cell phone companies you have around you. In Texas, you can get a cricket phone for about $25 plus tax + $27 or so. Then at the same time either get a free phone or one of the others at a discount price. Also, if you should find a phone you really like, then call Cricket or the cell phone company you plan to use if they can FLASH the phone. That is, make it so the cell phone would work with them
What is good about cricket. NO CONTRACT. just month to month. So the cell phone question is moot. Gotta find the cell phone company you want to get first, THEN decide on the cell phone that the company carries.

Look into go phones. They are cheap you may be able to find one with a camera. The reviews on the Accolade say it is a descent phone. Speakerphone is a bit distorted sound quality.

They have very good phones there or you can find them at most electronics places. I recently got my wife one because she's computer illiterate and doesn't understand the frills of the advanced cell phones.
