Why in the world are so many people asking this?

I see literally hundreds of posts asking what a Winchester model 94 is worth,or what year it was made! Are there that many people with these that want to sell them,or are they just curious about their gun? It's like a cult following. I have one and I looked it up on Winchester's site many years ago. No one was even interested in them back then!

In case you didn't notice, the economy is in the crapper and a Winchester 94 is a fairly common rifle. Just maybe, people are trying to find out their value before trying to sell them.

The Winchester has been around 100yrs and everyone is looking to see if their holding a model 73' 1-100.

I think the main reason is most are too lazy to check out the sites to get their own answers, or have had the gun passed down from a family member and do not have a clue as to what it is. It is just
too funny how many folks ask questions here on that and better yet the game laws of their home state. LAZY, or just plain stupid. That's my opinion anyway.

I don't know, but I think I am the ONLY person who owns a Winchester Model 94 who is NOT obsessed with knowing what year it was made.

Not sure. But most of them are idiots who post there full serials. I tell them, or at least I used to tell them not to and delete the question but I get thumbed down when I do. So I don't bother anymore as they don't want advice EVERY person here knows.
