What is wrong with my 2000 Chevy Blazer?
Recently I have noticed a loud roaring/humming sound when I am traveling at or above 40mph. The sound tends to get louder the faster I go.
After doing some research and investigating, I noticed that the sound usually stops when I am pulling through a gradual right hand curve in the road. However, once I get back to going straight, the sound starts again. In other words, when downward pressure is taken off of my right wheel the sound stops.
I believe that I have a problem with my front right wheel bearing and plan to take to my mechanic and have it checked out.
But I was wondering, what do you think is wrong? Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
Frankie - I normally drive in 2WD but my blazer is capable of 4WD high and low
Alekat - I'll try what you recommended, thanks
