Ok im 17 and a high school senior, i while back in October i wanted a dress for homecoming. I bought it and it looked really formal. So i decided to wear a different dress. Well we all know that prom is around the corner, so now as im really wondering about this particular dress. Im not sure if i want to wear this color. The color of the dress is purple but i rather wear a red dress which was always my dream for prom. So should i tell my mom the truth about the dress? and the dress cost alot an im wondering should i call the store to see if they would return it since its been atleast 3 months but i dont have the reciept but i do have the tags still on the dress. Please help me

yeah i think you should see if you can return it, and maybe pray for there to be an upcoming wedding you could wear the dress too, and tell your mom how youve always dreamed of a red dress.
OR maybe one of your friends would buy the dress from you for like $50 if they dress was orignally $150?
