If you have some, don't return it to the store. Call the number on the flyer and Federal will send you replacements.

Appreciate the, 'heads up'!

In fact, I have two boxes of 45 ACP, Federal, 'Champion' sitting inside my range bag, right now. Different lot #'s, though. Thanks!

Read the frigg 'in notice again! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHETHER OR NOT WAL-MART WILL TAKE IT BACK. Call Federal; they will pay for the return.

I understand this is all recent production. I have a lot of Federal 45acp,but I got it over a year ago and don't have the boxes anymore. I have been using some of what I bought with no issues. As I recall the boxes mine came in were red and white. Thanks for the info anyway,as I'll let my friends know too!

Crap, I did pick up a couple boxes of the Federal red box .45acp...

Now I'm gonna have to check that.

EDIT: Sheeeet.... I don't think Wal-Mart will accept returns either... dammit.

EDIT: Glock Doc: Yup. I have all sorts of free time to organize this... y'know... with a full time job, a hormonal time-bomb wife, and a baby (which has found out screaming gets it attention...).

Likewise, I am going to somehow have to exchange the ammo... screw that. it's too much of a mess for a $10 box of ammo. Especially in my situation.

I'm going to have to open some ammo cans. Irritating.

Edit: Sure enough, I have some recalled Federal Champion 230 gr. FMJ. I've fired at least 300 rounds of the WM5233 sku and these lot #... I'm down to the last box of it.

All my American Eagle and P.D. is OK, however.

I don't have a .45 but I've got lots of .40S&W.
