The Egyptians are celebrating right now because Mubarak has stepped down. Basically they believed they were under the control of a tyrant. Their issue with Mubarak dealt with a lack of jobs, lack of democracy or freedom, and they felt like they were under oppression.

Mubarak left because the people do not want a dictator like him any more.
