How do I use a digital scale. It says 100g x 0.01g?
I have a small digital scale but I do not know how to use it. Above the screen it says 100g x 0.01g. When I weigh a sterling pendant, the numbers say 32.30. what does that number mean and do I need to do any calculating for decimal placement? Is that even the right question? Help
Does this number mean the weight of the pendant is 3 grams?
OK I hear you. But on an ounce scale this pendant is only .1 oz or close to 1/10 of an ounce. So there is no way this pendant weighs 31 grams which is close to a full ounce. This is what is troubling me.
I would like to add that the pendant is 20mm by 14mm with a domed cabochon. There is just no way it could weigh close to an ounce
The 2 answers received are both right.
The first answer was right & very useful info. Also The info about what it reads is what it is & not having to do any math is very important to me. I just didn't give enough info. After adding more info the second answer hit the nail on the head. I was using grain instead of gram. So between both answers I understand. Problem is how do I pick Best Answer when both are right???
