On a scale of 1 to 10, how eventful would you say this off-season has been?

I know the off-season is always boring, but when I say "eventful" I'm talking about trades, etc. I'd give this off-season a 6.

10 is the most exciting, 1 is the least.

I would say a 10. It started right from the get go. Before the World Series was over with the Arod sweepstakes, the Clemens and the Mitchell reports, the hearings and culminating with the Santana trade and a lot of other stuff in the middle. There was quite a bit of drama in the off season. But all of that will pale in comparison to tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. Enjoy the game. I know I will.

My memory is tinted by Yankee news, so bare with me. First, the Yankees hired a new manager for the first time in 12 years. Then, there was that whole "Arod, opt-out, he's gone, he's back" fiasco. Barry Bonds was indicted for perjury. That Miguel Cabrera/Dontrelle Willis/Tigers trade was pretty big. Then the Mitchell report rocked all of baseball, followed by the whole Clemens/McNamee mess. And the Mets made a trade for some guy named Santana. Am I missing anything? If I take the whole off-season altogether, I'd give it an 8.

I'd say a 5, but any moves might have been overshadowed by Andy Pettitte's HGH confession and the circus surrounding the Roger Clemens/Brian McNamee drama. No real big blockbuster trades anyway, though. We'll see what happens when the trading deadline approaches mid-season.

By the way, Hate Monger, your the one that needs to get a life. Quit living down to your own standards and leave decent people alone.

Interesting question, but I think it depends on which team you like. As a Phillies fan I'd say a 7. We got Brad Lidge, who can be a major part of the bullpen. We got Jenkins, Taguchi, and some excellent Minor leaguers who had a pretty good spring training. People talk about the Santana deal, but I think that will be a bust. He only won 15 games last year, not 20 or 25 as people seem to think. Jamie Moyer of the Phils won 14 games and he's 44.

    I give it an 8

The Willis-Cabrera trade was an awesome accomplishment for the Tigers and so was signing Renteria

Johan moved to a team that has a shot at winning the WS

The Phillies improved a lot this off season so I may catch a couple more of their games this year, But letting go of Rowand was one of their biggest mistakes ever

Well as a Yankee fan lets see what happened

the Joe Torre thing , Getting Joe Girardi the Arod Opting out the Red SOx won the ws[ okay that was hard for me as a Yankee Fan lol] the Mitchell Report, and all the trades i would give it a 7.999 lol

Well, if I wasn't a Yankee fan, it would be pretty boring (too much drama with the Mitchell report earlier- glad that furor has died down) but I have a feeling the Yankees and the Rays are going to kill each other in one of the 18 times they meet in the regular season. I will give it a 6 as well

Well for me, I'm a tigers fan so 10.

Getting D-Train signing him for 3 years and getting miguel and signing him for 8 and lets not forget about jones and renterria.

Overall: 8. There were big trades involving Haren and Tejada and Bonds is still out there. I know theres things I'm forgetting so an 8 overall. And lets not forget about Johan. And his signing of 7 years.

Source(s): ADD: and the Mitchell Report. How'd I forget that?
