What are my chances of getting into Army OCS?

College senior with a 3.4 GPA
Major: History
Not sure what other experience or achievements to list that are necessary. I have some volunteer experience and a few leadership roles. But, other than that just about 5 years of work experience in the auto industry and painting. Also, I am 21 years old.

The selection rate for civilians is about 60%. Each board is different and each board may bring a different bias to the selection process. One may be more interested in your GPA while the other is interested in your volunteer work. In the Army it is easier, because they can look at our evaluations, our PT tests and letters of recommendations from serving Army officers. Perhaps that is another reason the selection rate from the Active Duty Army is higher than from the civilian side. Good luck!

You need to be over 90 credits towards a bachelor's degree or have graduated already. Other than that, you just need to go see a recruiter and they will tell you you need to do basic , then ait then OCS then whatever area you're going int o.
