Who are more responsible for wrecks on the interstate, fast drivers or slow drivers?
I'm curious on what people think about this. Studies seem to contradict each other on this.

Driving either much faster, or much slower than surrounding traffic creates about the same hazardous condition.
However: "driving too fast for road conditions" can cause accidents, whereas there's really no equivalent driving too slowly.

speeding and inattentive driving are the two most common problems on americas highways today, speeders also usually are considered aggresive drivers, I go fast sometimes, but I dont tailgate, I try to stay out of the blind spots of others, and watch the 18 wheelers. If the truckers are all high balling a little I may kick it up too, If all the truckers are doing the exact speed limit, and one is going fast, he is the one with no cb dont follow him he is a ticket waiting to happen. I usually cruise along, and wait for one or two cars to rocket past me, then a mile or longer back will kick it up and be back there somewhere. Tickets are expensive, Im not in a hurry for any more.

Uhh, slow drivers on limited access hwys are extremely rate.
I see signs on those hwys that say, "Report Agressive Driving," ie, speeding, following too closely, etc.
So that's the prob.
