Fast drivers in slow lanes?

What if you're in the "slow" lane because you have enough sense to get out of the way but here comes Mario Andretti driving too close in the wrong lane? Do you continue your pace, drive slower, or slam on your brakes?

I continue on my merry way ignoring the Mario Andretti driver behind me. I don't speed up, slow down, or slam on the brakes. Slowing down or slamming on the brakes will only anger them which might lead to them to do something stupid (like changing lanes without looking) possibly causing a wreck.

I have seen this happen now and then. As long as I'm not obstructing his ability to pass, I will totally ignore him, not look his way and continue to drive at the right speed. People who do that who don't have a real emergency to take care of are probably just dying for anyone to give them some attention, or a reaction. This way it pumps up their ego and makes them feel noticed, but they could cause more problems on the road if they get the reaction they want. So forget them. Who cares ? They have a problem going on in their mind that doesn't need encouraging.

Go at your own, pace. I'm a fast driver and I never get road rage or harass people in the slow lane, only the fast lane. They're in the correct lane, and good for them.

Just continue at your own pace. Slam on your brakes and you could be charged with causing an accident. Slow down and all you might do is enrage an idiot who might do something to retaliate.

I maintain my speed and ignore him/her. If he/she figures I'm "going too slow" - they can switch to the left lane.

Driving slower or slamming the brakes could cause an accident.

i'll regulate a sluggish driver in a short lane.........yet tailgating, in both lane, is always risky and incorrect and stressful. i'm in many situations whizzing alongside, contained in the speedy lane, nicely above the speed reduce, and there is gotta be one pr*ck, who needs to tailgate me at 90mph. So, I pull over and enable quick gonzales pass.......and then what do they always do.?????? They swerve proper, and get proper in the front of you, and then decelerate. I desire my vehicle has the front fixed missles and that i'd only BLOW those IDIOTS proper off the line. Why did you tailgate me and flash your light fixtures at me, in case you only needed to get in the front and then decelerate? some idiots only love playing that interest.

You're not supposed to care about the driver behind you since you have the right of way. Just maintain your speed and they will eventually pass you or get pulled over if there's heavy cop presence.
