I hear all these people talking about how they want a push present for going through pregnancy and labour. My push present will be a boob job when I'm done having kids. something for me, to make me happy.
When I got pregnant I had 30E's and then I went back to 30B. it's not pretty.
I hope yours works out but I just wanted to say that cause I know that a lot of people think boob jobs are a bad thing.

I havent had it done but did plan on it after I had my first baby. I breastfed and WOW...my boobs were sooo different. I talked with my hubby and told him I wanted one...he said fine(: I decided to wait untill I was done having kids. I saw what happened to them after my son, so i thought it would be best for them if I waited and I wanted to breastfeed my other babies and didn't want to take any risks...iykwim.
Even if I didn't breastfeed, my boobs got sooo big while i was pregnant. I went from a B cup to a D just from being pregnant.

I say get it done but wait until you are finished having babies. If you get a boob job you want them to look good for a loong time, and you don't know what will happen to them when you have other babies.

sorry I answered your question...hope you get the answer you are looking for. Go for a consult and ask all your questions. then go for another to see if they give the same answers. Just so you know you are doing the right thing. Even if you are planning to wait a year or two..you can get a consult now so you know.

I dont have any experience but I want to share something with you. My mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and had a double mastectomy 3 weeks ago. She is in the process of recontructive surgery. She was very worried about the implants. Her oncologist told her that they are extremely dangerous for non cancer patients because when you have a mamogram there is no possible way to see a large portion of the breast tissue. This is something the surgeons dont tell you. If you choose to go through with the procedure there is no way they would be able to catch breast cancer in certain parts of your breast if that were to happen. I never knew this until my mother went through all this. Just something to consider.

Any breast surgery that you have could impact your breastfeeding experience. Why not wait until you are finished having your children, and then talk to a surgeon? Whether you have a reduction or an enhancement, the surgery itself is a risk for normal breastfeeding.
