For both Test Drive Unlimited and Oblivion u should install the 3Gb enabler.

This is basically just a file header change that tells the computer that the executable file can use over 2Gb of RAM.

U can use NTCore's "CFF Explorer" to enable the 3Gb handler (among many other things)

It's a free programme.

Once u install the CFF Explorer whenever u right click on an executable file, it will give the option of opening it in CFF Explorer.

Right click on the executable file for each game. (For example "oblivion.exe") and choose "Open With CFF Explorer"
A new window will open with a tree listing in the left pane. Choose "File Header" from that tree. (A table will appear in the right pane).
In that table will be a blue box saying "click here"...do so. (another Characteristics box will open)
Tick the box next to "App can handle >2gb address space" Then press "ok"
Click the "save" icon at the top of the CFF Explorer window and exit the app.
Your game executable file will now have more RAM space to operate in and shouldn't crash as often (if at all)....Show more

If you built your own rig sometimes windows 7 has errors with running games on custom pcs you should first try to sun the games in a compatibility mode or start the pc in safe mode. If that doesnt work go online to see if the different parts you used might have problems with each other. Also just because I dont like intel cpus i usually blame the processor if i cant find out whats wrong.
