I keep changing it and clicking update, but it keeps going back? Help?
Also, I can see my avatar everywhere else, except Yahoo Answers - when it show an exclamation mark..
I have done that - it still doesn't change....

You have hidden your Pulse profile. Until you un-hide it, your avatar will remain the default (exclamation point) avatar.
Click "My Activity" at top of page
Select "Edit My Preferences"
Click "Update photo or avatar"
Follow instructions to select your photo/avatar
Click "Submit" on bottom of original page when done
To make a carton avatar:

Make sure your Pulse profile is not hidden.

its the default avatar, you can change it in 'My activites'
